Because when you’re debating someone, rule number one is to keep your cool. If you lose your temper you lose the audience.
It may have felt good to yell something, but it made our side of the debate look bad, and that doesn’t help us to persuade people.
He didn’t say anything that wasn’t true. But persuasion is about more than yelling at the top of one’s lung.
He screwed up, because now all that is going to be talked about is the Republican’s lack of civility, rather than the inane speech or the bad healthcare proposal.
No, it made all of the world take notice that obama IS A LIAR... that is all it did and all it will do.
LLS
So, what's new? LOL
I bet you voted for McCain in the primaries. JESUS, CAN OUR PARTY GROW A PAIR? EVER!?
Should have known better.
Another Republican without courage. Backed down the same night.
He knows Obama is a liar. He was right to state that. Obama had NO problem calling Sarah a liar (falsely) two seconds before and he hasn’t reneged on that.
To those of you calling for civility? Tell the Libs to learn it first. Their whole caucus heckled Bush during his speeches. No, those days are over.
The people at the town halls have the guts to say what they believe and stand by it. When Republicans learn to speak the truth and stand by it than I’ll start caring about their political survival.
