“This evening I let my emotions get the best of me when listening to the President’s remarks regarding the coverage of illegal immigrants in the health care bill. While I disagree with the President’s statement, my comments were inappropriate and regrettable. I extend sincere apologies to the President for this lack of civility.”

When Bro' Obama and his unelected czars be gettin' full control, we won't even HAVE a House of Representatives and Senate.

This is my belief also. Another part of the "fundamental transformation."

I agree. My emotions have taken over my mouth more than once. I cannot fault him on that. It happens. We are all human. Except for Obama—he’s the Messiah.

I am donating to Wilson as soon as his site is back up. He got his message across, apology or not.

Yea, the Marxists are running roughshod over the Constitution and we, the Republicans just sit there and worry about civility. Hopeless cowards!

The very people who think he shouldn’t have apologized would have been properly outraged if an anti-war Congressman had similarly shouted out to President Bush during one of his addresses to the Congress. We don’t want to start a precedent.

LOL! I remember football before Mark Gastineau...whose war dances over a sacked quarterback changed the NFL.

You may have a point.

I wasn’t that political until what I saw what was happening during the North trials. I was appalled at how the left was trying to dismantle the foundation and yes, it pissed me off. Those hearings alone confirmed my belief that the left is anti-American.

Have you had a chance to see the speech? It was not good.

He did not apologized for ‘speaking the truth’... He apologized for breaking the House rules.

Thanks, for the followup.

Just saw the aftermath of the speech—Obama looked very, very angry when he was shaking hands with his sycophants.

No I could not waste any time on that Obama speech.

Besides, we are plenty busy over here right now. Glad to hear it flopped. Are the numbers in yet? Fox TV focus groups with toggle switches?

Repubs are a TRAIN WRECK. Our only hope can lie with a third party candidate. ONLY HOPE.

Waited til when? It was the perfect time and place.. Wilson isn’t the rude one.. Obama is. Why is it we always blame the good guy and make him feel shameful?

Yes I saw that as well. Reminded me of the scene from Jedi where Palpatine turns to Vader and mutters “Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen..heh hah aha haha hah!”

“State of the Union 2006... they did a hell of a lot more to Bush than Wilson did tonight.”

That is because they have balls (mixed with a lot of insanity), which the repubs currently lack..except for the small show tonight. More repubs may follow in short order..we’ll see.

Give it a day or so. LOL!

All the buzz is Rep. Wilson(SC) calling Obama a liar midstream and all three look left in shock. Pelosi keeps looking and is quite pissed. The speech never took hold at all.

I don’t see what the problem is. He is apologizing for being rude, not for calling Obama out on a lie.

There is a fundamental disconnect between Senator Obama and the American People. I don't know how he can close the gap and get people behind him short of Martial Law.

The jig's up and people have really caught on to his lies and nefarious background/associations. The cow is really out of the barn now, methinks.
