Okay, Conservatives, we have a Congressman in Washington, Joe Wilson (R-SC) who had the courage to speak up publicly on national TV against the lies spread by Obama. "You lie!" might just become the new "shot heard around the world."
It's not just enough to chuckle and say, "Amen, brother!" This man will likely become the new whipping boy and target of the most vile and evil campaign ever, right up there with the one against Sarah Palin and her family.
This week, put a check in the mail for his campaign fund. We clamor for our representatives to truly represent us, and now this brave man has risked everything to do just that. Put your money where your mouth is, Freepers! Every ten or twenty bucks will speak volumes, especially if we can raise a small fortune. It will instill courage in other Conservatives and maybe even some Blue Dog Democrats to speak truth to power.
Spread the word via Twitter, FaceBook, and your email loops.

“Look, you’re entitled to support who you want. But yelling out in the middle of a joint session of Congress isn’t courage but a boorish break in protocol. It’s not as though Wilson has a hard time getting his views out via Fox News or the WSJ or any of our fine conservative magazines and websites. I think yelling out like that at a joint session is just appalling manners for a congressman and childish grandstanding.”
It was VERY courageous to stand up against the onslaught of socialism. We are at WAR against a regime that wants to dismantle our country, tear up the Constitution, and take over every aspect of our lives to take money and power for themselves and their political cronies (both Republican AND Democrat!)
You want to see appalling manners and childish grandstanding? Just watch what the libs will try to do to demolish Wilson.
I had a feeling that might happen; he's probably being threatened with after-school detention or an extra homework assignment from the House.
He called a liar for what he is, and he did it in a hugely public way. Most of our Republican Congressmen and Senators scuttle around Washington like scared rats. Wilson gets a huge thumbs up from me.
He just went from hero to scumbag!
Apologizing for calling Mr Obama a liar 2 hours later....
WORTHLESS
McCain this was your doing right??
Look on the bright side. Everyone will remember, “You Lie!”. Very few will remember the apology.
I wish we could have shown him his spine quickly, and told him that we all had his back on this.
The left likely threatened his family.
Wilson sure put a smile on my face.
Wrong, he apologized for his lack of civility, not what he said.
Again, you can apologize all you want, it don’t put the genie back in the bottle.
I was just about to make a contrib to his next campaign; but when he apologized, he became just another spineless loser. Fuh-gedda-bow-dit.
As do I.
He should have stuck through it.
Still, it couldn’t hurt if we infiltrated O’s appearances and started chanting, “You lie. You lie. You lie.....” over and over.
Louder and louder.
Haven’t you heard the old saying of doing what you want and apologising after.
Of course he had to apologise, it was a breech of civility on the floor. But now that he says he sorry, the dems can’t pile on without people saying but the same thing has happened to democrats.
This is hardly a time for civility.
The Communist party has taken control of your country.
Will we play by the Queensbury rules?
Yes, he apologized, but “You lie,” can’t be erased and that YouTube video will be viewed by tens of thousands. Just watch.
I will give of my hard=earned money all the way across the country to a guy who sticks by his guns — not a guy who shies away from the commie’s shadow. You donate to him; I refuse.
