President Barack Obama will declare that he will no longer waste time with opponents of overhauling the health care system when he addresses Congress and the nation Wednesday evening, warning that if the current overhaul effort fails, he will leave it up to his opponents to fix the system themselves.
In excerpts of his address to a joint session of Congress, which the White House released in advance, Obama will propose a new system of insurance exchanges in which individual Americans and small businesses could pool their negotiating power to wrest better coverage and lower rates from private insurance companies.
Obamas address, which is scheduled to begin at 8:06 p.m. ET, will be aired on NBC stations and MSNBC TV, and it will be streamed live on msnbc.com.

who is with me?
Wasting a little time is a whole lot better than wasting another trillion dollars.
The Federal government has NO Constitutional authority to be in the health care business, or the health insurance business. It’s legally, morally, and ethically abhorrent to any reasonable American.
It’s time to corral the government back within the confines of the Constitution.
We need to pass this !< !~ @ !> IMMEDIATELY so it is effective in 4 years? Don’t think so.
Pres: My goals.... My goals.... My goals....
Public: Uh, how?
Pres: [Silence]
Holy cow! “From each according to his abilities, unto each according to his needs.”
“...will no longer waste time with opponents of overhauling the health care system...”
Oh like we are wasting time listening to his divel. Wow I really love how this President shows the American people of differing opinions soooo much respect (sarcasm intended).
If he keeps this up on every initiative, it will hard to find supporters by this time next year. The percentage of people who support every aspect he wants of every bill will be about Zilch by then.
Yeah, it cuts into his golf game.
I second.
K-I-L-L THE BILL!!
