I really haven’t followed this closely yet. But I have to say I am prejudiced after years of living in Florida and watching the state GOP “appoint” RINOs to the nominations, and sabotage conservative challengers. Unless the state GOP organization here is different than Florida, my first assumption is going to be that the party insider favorite is going to be a RINO.
I don’t at all trust the GOP leadership at state or federal level. Ditto on Mitch McConnell.
I don’t know much about this race, but has Grayson been “appointed” by the GOP, country-club elites for this senate seat? Maybe Rand Paul is what we need — someone that is out of the loop, someone more like us (read, Sarah Palin) that could help rebuild and reshape the party away from the Ivy Leaguers.
I don’t imagine that Caribou Barbie is a pacifist weasel like the standard issue Paul family types. Nor is she particularly libertoonian on matters of social conservative principle such as baby-killing or lavender hoopla masquerading as “marriage.” If Randall Paul voted for his delusional daddy last year, we don’t need yet more troublesome interventions by moonbats for major GOP nominations. May Kentucky crush Randall once and for all.
