Off-duty officer stops attack on teen at St. Rocco's Festival (Black mob vs white kid- not hate)

A group of boys videotaped themselves pummeling a 17-year-old Cleveland youth outside the St. Rocco's Festival this weekend, witnesses told the youth's family. The unprovoked attack on Justin Winemiller may have been deadly, if it weren't for an off-duty Cleveland police officer who stopped the beating Saturday night by squirting pepper spray at the group and threatening to use his Taser. It is unclear what prompted the beating. But one of the attackers yelled an expletive at the victims and told them they shouldn't be there, according to the report.

Locally, this is big news, because the victim is white, and the 20+ "youths" were black. Here is a video of the victim and his mom telling the story from his hospital bed, after being almost beaten to death...

The local paper has been jumped on for not identifying that the attackers were black, and the editor of the paper actually had to put out a statement:

The Plain Dealer, as a matter of policy, does not include descriptions of crime suspects unless they include enough specifics for the community to help police make identifications. Generally, that means height, weight, clothing, race, gender, tattoos and the like. In the case of the beating, specific descriptions of suspects were not available except for one person, a juvenile identified by name in the police report. The Plain Dealer does not name juvenile crime suspects unless they are arrested and charged as adults.

Nothing in the police report indicates that the beatings were race-motivated hate crimes.

Apparently there was another similar story in Buffalo, I think it was, recently. On the AOL front page they had a story about a white kid beaten senseless by blacks because he had a black girlfriend. They had been harassed before. Then it turned physical. The injured guy’s father said it was racially motivated. He also asked why there was such silence from the media. Gee I wonder. He said quite openly if the races were reversed there would have been tremendous coverage. I’m surprised AOL news even mentioned the story. Apparently they were the only ones though.

Now, if there had been 20+ white guys beating up a black guy, well now, that would be news, wouldn't it?!! And it would certainly be pursued as a "hate crime" by the local PD and egged on by the supposedly unbiased State Run Media (SRM).

Wasn’t there a story a few months ago about a very Liberal white woman in Berkeley who was savagely beaten and robbed by a black man and she apparently blamed her “people” for causing the violent act.

Berkeley (which is not a safe place) is a very frustrating place for their cops, as many victims have so much Liberal guilt, they do not press charges, even for violent crime.

I hope this boy goes for the hate crime as the Media covers the fact 85% of interracial crime is directed at whites, not by whites, as they would like for you to believe.

This is the way the Plain Dealer operates. They have no problem when the criminal is white. Sometimes its not even a criminal, just someone who says something stupid. They make sure to print the race. But black on white hate crimes is totally different. I live in cleveland too. Honestly, when we don’t see the race of the perpetrator in the article anymore, we just assume he/they were black. It’s sad. It’s stupid. It’s true.
