I asked for a past instance of a repeal of a major government giveaway. Prohibition was definitely not a program of government wealth redistribution.
I never said it was. But it was as unpopular as government healthcare is proving to be. And for that reason I believe it's an appropriate response. If you don't agree, ignore it.
