Mob-tied building inspectors in bribe & drug scandal AT LEAST six city building inspectors -- some with ties to a powerful crime family -- were videotaped taking bribes at construction sites, and some were seen dealing cocaine and prescription pills while on duty,
The Post has learned. The corrupt Department of Buildings workers -- who lined their pockets by ignoring violations or expediting construction and building work permits -- will be arrested later this month, along with about two dozen Luchese crime-family captains, soldiers and associates, sources said. Bump for tomorrow.
Lived there for two years and loved the people in NYC, but the greed and corruption is knee deep and I’m happy to be back home in Texas. AND it’s a whole lot cheaper here!
Corruption? Just wait till Obama Care hits.
HEY NY POST!!!... Is this really “shocking”? Really??? I mean Charlie Rangle is chairman of the ways and means committee.
Shocker? Building inspector corruption in New York? Hardly a shocker.
Going on forever and will continue.
I would imagine this has been going on for 100 years.
Oh, we are so surprised. I really wish for once they would send one of the alleged big fish to jail and not just the little ones. Hillary and Bill definately belong there. I would say Obama and Pelosi, Reid, Rangal, Dodd, Frank and a host of others. Rahm and Axelrod and definately Soros.
BFL.
Wonder how many of them will be dead before they are arrested.
This kind of stuff never happened where I grew up... in Chicago.
