Roger that - of course, we’ve got 2 more years before they can do any more serious damage...and I was pretty pleased, overall, with what came out of Austin this last session, particularly with respect to concealed carry enhancements.
Colonel, USAFR
I concur on this past legislative session. However, I wish Capt’n Goodhair would get off this Trans Texas Corridor kick. I thought they killed it last time but it is creeping back bit by bit, only under another name.
Two things attract libs, and for different reasons.
1) Handouts. Lib sheep love entitlements and handouts. Take down the birdfeeder, they go away. Leave it up, and they poop all over your porch and scream at you when the feeder runs dry.
2) Control. Lib elitists crave control over others. Remove this possibility from your government, and they go away.
Examine the policies in and around Austin, and you’ll likely see these two items. Libs tend to congregate where these things are present.
I hear folks discussing durrent events here in Houston, and note that while I agree with their sentiments, they would constitute a hate crime in, say, my old homeland of California.
There is a lot of common sense in Texas. I approve, and have let my relatives in CA know that I plan on raising my children as proud Texans, never to be sullied by the moral pollution of the Coasts. They don't really dig that, but tough t:tt:es.
Hope to see y’all at the Capitol Saturday at 2PM!
I wish I could be there, but I have National Guard drill.
