President Obama will meet Tuesday afternoon with Democratic Congressional leaders to plot strategy, a day before his scheduled speech to the nation on health care, an address billed as the most important of his presidency so far.
Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the Senate majority leader, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California, are to meet with Mr. Obama at the White House.
In the morning, a leader of a key group of House Democrats, Representative Mike Ross of Arkansas, said that he could not support creation of a public insurance plan in any bill to overhaul the health care system.
Those involved in negotiations over health care were also weighing a proposal from Senator Max Baucus, a Montana Democrat who heads the Finance Committee, that would impose new fees on some sectors of the health care industry, but none on individuals, to help offset initial costs of the health care overhaul estimated at $880 billion over 10 years, according to officials familiar with the outline.
The plan, circulating among some committee members of both parties, would also offer the option of lower-cost insurance, with protection only against the costs of catastrophic illnesses, to those 25 and younger. In addition, it would provide basic Medicaid coverage to millions of low-income people who are currently ineligible for the program, but the benefits would be less comprehensive than standard Medicaid.

Plan A was to get this bill passed without anyone, including Congress, to actually read it. Failing that, Plan B has been to deny the bill says what it says, and attack and ridicule those with the gall to call them on it. I can’t wait to see Plan C.
Boy, would I love to be a fly on the wall at this meeting of the most evil conspirators in America, 0bozo, Reid & Pelosi, as they plot & conspire to destroy America under the auspices of health care (un)reform. I hope that God rewards them duly for their evil deeds.
They cannot get a bill through the House without Ross and the Blue Dogs, not unless they can make up those numbers with Republicans. But I've still not had anyone explain the point of the Gang of Six, bi-partisan negotiations in the Senate -- this legislation must initiate in the House, a bill must come from that chamber first, do they plan to take some whatever bill from the House, strike the language and insert their compromise, pass that with the so-called nuclear option? That would STILL have to go back to the House and get 218 yeas, I just don't see it happening right now.

Well, Americans were fooled into voting this joker into the WH (although the alternatives were not inspiring). Fooling them into a universal health care plan should be a piece of cake.

God will punish those sitting on Government, especially them. They are supposed to uphold the law and protect their country. Every deed... every word will be written in their books.. come judgment day these government people will be held accountable for their despicable actions.
Plan C will be more of Plans A and B; lie about the contents of the health care "reform" bill, then disgracefully attack and impugn those who oppose his socialized, rationed health care bill, (he will especially rail against Rush Limbaugh, though without the guts to call him by name).
Plan C will also include an obnoxious attempt to bring back that old Obama black magic with his endearing, 'leg tingling' speech pattern. One sentence will end with his voice going up, then he'll turn his head and the next sentence will end with his voice going down. Up ----- and down, --- up, ----and down. That's all he can do. If ever there was a cheap, sleezy, snake oil salesman who fooled many people by employing a simple speech pattern gimmick, it's Barak Hussein Obozo.

It would be naive to think BO and his fellow socialists are willing to abandon government run health care. They are merely trying to find a way to repackage government run health care.
The One tells the Dems to vote for it, or else. They vote for it.
