A $545,000 salary from a non-profit? Can you imagine the amount of oil that would have purchased for low income people. With his inheritance, Kennedy should be volunteering his time!

You can email them and ask at: inform@citizensenergy.com

Sounds like Representative Waxman needs to investigate this. Anything over $500,000 a year seems to get his attention nowadays...

Sadly this could be said of most big name charities.

From the article: He also has settled into a comfortable lifestyle since leaving Congress in 1999, taking home a $545,000 salary

Should I be taking the "taking home" reference to this being a $900,000 or more gross salary?

Clearly it is a for profit for Kennedy himself if not for any stockholders.

Wow, I remember when his salary was $350k. I thought that was high at the time. This is absolutely disgusting. The charity/non-profit is not that big. It certainly is not as big as The American Red Cross or United Way, etc.

If I never hear of another Kennedy in office, it will be too soon.

Yes, as so clearly demonstrated for over 50 years, members of the criminal class can enjoy inherited wealth.

Shouldn’t the Kennedys be using their own oil from Mokeen and Kenoil?

Chump change: The Portland (OR) director of the local Goodwill knocks down over $800,000 plus annually.
