Have you ever heard the Ad Council spot where a female voice says “Be on the look out for a Caucasian male who abducted an African-American baby girl”? Then, later she says he was captured. It is a radio ad, played oftentimes locally on WRKO (Rush Limbaugh and Howie Carr). It’s been running for a couple of years is my guess.
White males are the ones who watch these commercials.
I’ve heard that one many times. I’ve always thought it was racist.
Anytime anything negative is displayed in a commercial, whether it be drunk drivers, robbers, or stupid people who use the wrong product, they always use white male actors. They can’t use women or the feminists will complain; they can’t use blacks or the NAACP will complain, etc. All white males do is kind of shake their heads in annoyance and then go back to raising their families, doing their jobs, etc. They don’t protest or boycott. It’s still not right, but it’s how things are. I guess one way of looking at it is that white male actors get a lot of work, especially ones with comic talents who can portray lazy, stupid characters.

Take a gander at all the commericials on TV. Ever see the security alarm commercials?? It’s always a white guy breaking into the home. There are countless commericials depicting the white guy as an ignoramous while the black guy is shown as the intellignt business man.

They act like women and minorities are so pathetic that only white men can be criticized and be able to take it. All the jerks on tv are white males.
Here in MD Homebuilders got successfully sued because they were running commercials where the actors (playing homeowners) were white.
I, for one, am a little sick and tired of the “dumb white guy” commericals. It doesn’t matter what they are selling, every time it is a smart woman of any race but a dumb guy, usually white, as the fall guy.
When I shoot at the gun club, my target is always a photo of a clean-cut white guy holding a pistol.
In actuality, DUI arrests are increasing for women while they have been dropping for men...go figure.

Someone was watching a lot of TV this weekend, and I guess the shellacking your bulldawgs took in Stillwater has something to do with your bad mood.
The “victim” in those commercials is always standing next to a phone when Brinks calls. Couldn’t they just call the cops themselves?
There are several of these commercials, not a single non white guy drives drunk. There are several non white cops to arrest them.
Mercifully, no.
