The man with the tingle up his leg says it's so.
Long and short of it is there is the potential to pick up a significant number of seats in the House, and maybe even in the Senate. But it's way too early to be counting our gains, and we all know that if anyone is capable of squandering a political opportunity it's this GOP leadership. If Obama keeps handing us gifts we need to take advantage of them and not compromise with him. We need to start offering our own alternatives and presenting a clear, focused, easily understood message for 2010 ala the Contract With America. And if we do gain control in either house in 2010, the first thing they should do is choose new leaders from the incoming group of freshmen and not the old guard party elders.
Hey, he’s just quoting Irish odds makers. And nothing like having hopey for a little changey to keep our team going. (Lord knows, our Republican pols need a little assertiveness encouragement!)
It looks like that tingle moved to around his neck.
Date Presidential Approval Index Strongly Approve Strongly Disapprove Total Approve Total Disapprove
09/08/2009 -11 29% 40% 50% 60%
09/07/2009 -13 28% 41% 48% 51%
Certainly hope this is true but I am not sure it will bring about a whole lot of change. We are in need of something more than minor improvements.
We won’t see change until we get rid of ALL of the lifers, republican or democrat
Re total approval: I think you read the wrong line. Rasmussen has it at 50% approve, 49% disapprove.
My fear is that Congress will switch and in turn make Zer0 look good for 12.
All things considered, I would prefer a non-fascist Congress, and, I have faith 0bozo will continue his goose step to president for life.
"While it lasts" was just that, they fixed the apparent typo. Anyways, perhaps it won't be just a typo in the near future...
I can hardly wait!
How bipartisan of you.
Push out the stinking RINOs like Juan McCain, Graham-nesty, Crist, Snowe, Collins, etc.
I prefer to thing of how bright I am. Not to mention how blessed I am, I look for solutions not additional problems to fear.
One to many glasses of merlot, I prefer to thinK of how bright I am. Not to mention how blessed I am, I look for solutions not additional problems to fear. Spelling wasn't my big thing, glad I have an adminstrative assistant otherwise I couldn't appear to thing(k) at all.
