Well I'll put Chrissy Matthews' opinion right up there with Dick Morris'.

Long and short of it is there is the potential to pick up a significant number of seats in the House, and maybe even in the Senate. But it's way too early to be counting our gains, and we all know that if anyone is capable of squandering a political opportunity it's this GOP leadership. If Obama keeps handing us gifts we need to take advantage of them and not compromise with him. We need to start offering our own alternatives and presenting a clear, focused, easily understood message for 2010 ala the Contract With America. And if we do gain control in either house in 2010, the first thing they should do is choose new leaders from the incoming group of freshmen and not the old guard party elders.

Certainly hope this is true but I am not sure it will bring about a whole lot of change. We are in need of something more than minor improvements.

Re total approval: I think you read the wrong line. Rasmussen has it at 50% approve, 49% disapprove.

My fear is that Congress will switch and in turn make Zer0 look good for 12.

All things considered, I would prefer a non-fascist Congress, and, I have faith 0bozo will continue his goose step to president for life.

I think I had it right, at the time (just prior to 9:30).

"While it lasts" was just that, they fixed the apparent typo. Anyways, perhaps it won't be just a typo in the near future...
