3 of the 5 questions my 11yo (1st day of 6th grade today) came up with to ask the Pres after reading his speech yesterday. The other 2 questions dealt with why he made so many Harry Potter references.
I didn’t read the “lesson plan” but I’m not exactly worrying about it, if they even show the speech at all.

“Why is it important that we listen to the president and
other elected officials, like the mayor, senators, members
of congress, or the governor? Why is what they say important?”
“Create posters of their goals. Posters could be formatted
in quadrants, puzzle pieces, or trails marked with the
following labels: personal, academic, community, and
country.”
