His sound bites from the speech at the LD parade were painful! At one point he told the crowd he'd tried to get Senator Arlen Specter to switch to Republican for years...then he corrected himself.

That was one of MANY stumbles and bumbles...oh it's just Joe.

Morning RWI. Mr sneakers was down with a cold starting Saturday night. Kept him on the couch all day for two days. I don’t know if it’s the flu, but he felt pretty miserable. Slight sore throat, chills/sweating, nlightly nauseous, very tired. He was starting to feel somewhat better by last night. We got some of that Oscillococcinum (as recommended by a few freepers on a flu discussion thread), which is specifically for flu symptoms. He said he believes it helped and that he may feel up to going to work today.

Here, the local newspaper is saying that most kids are not going to school today because of Obama’s speech...

Ha! Scary, ain’t it! I don’t know if he’d be better or worse than Obama. Wait - I don’t think it could get much worse. Of course, we all thought that with Clinton!!

TV news here this morning is making a big deal about the number of schools that are opting out of running the speech. A couple are taping it and will run it in for parents and kids tonight.

BTW it's interesting how many times he uses the word "I" and starts sentences with it.
