I've heard Bill Cunningham defend Savage, and like you, have not heard Savage give Cunningham his props for doing so. Instead he laments about the Fox News personalities and Rush.
I listen to Savage once in a while, but tire quickly of his self-aggrandizing. He would best address issues and a bit of his personal experiences. I also find it odd he repeats his books cannot be purchased outside his website when this is true only of the most recent books - the rest being readily available at most booksellers.
I find it reprehensible that Rush, O'Reilly, Hannity and Beck ignore what the UK has done to Savage, no matter how they personally feel about him. He is, like them, a conservative and this could just as easily have happened to them. It appears unless their own tails are in a twit, it doesn't matter to them.
Well, since Savage doesn’t see himself as part of their group, why should they defend him as though he was one of their own? Savage can’t have it both ways.
O’Reilly twice mentioned Savage’s ban in the UK,and even after that, Savage continued to say that no one mentioned in on Fox. Not true!
I hate the way Savage continually calls the other talk show hosts names. I don’t think I’d come to his defense either if he said this about me, night after night, like he does the others.
I do enjoy his insights, but, when he starts his high school jock jealousy bit - I turn him off.
Mark Levin doesn’t take any crap from him, and has overtaken him in ratings on many stations.
I think Savage has a drinking problem, yet talks about Rush’s past prescription drug addiction.
He also calls Beck the hemorrhoid with ears. Sorry, but, he can’t have it both ways. Either he’s with them, or against them.
No one would publish his newest book, “Banned in the UK,” so, he is self-publishing it. Sounds like the publishers are leery of him too for some reason. It can’t be because he’s a conservative, because the hottest books on the market right now are written by conservatives.
