Nice to see the French firefighters aligned with us... Although I enjoy anti-French jokes as well as the next bloke many French professionals are not afflicted with their politicians' knee-jerk anti-Americanism and are quite competent.
Senior people in the US military, law enforcement and anti-terror intelligence agencies generally have respect for their French counterparts.
