When I was in school a neighborhood friend who was defined as “special education” was freqeuntly bullied at school. I found that a good ass whooping usually brought that to an end. Bullies tend to be cowards that pick on the weak. The article basically intsructs kids to be weak. What nonsense.

I did my tormentor in 5th grade with a 2x2 piece of pine that I was carrying home when he caught up to me. He got bloodied a bit but didn’t break anything. His daddy threatened to sue my daddy but nothing came of it except that the fellow didn’t bother me again. The worst part was that I was still afraid of the guy for a couple of weeks until I realized that his interests had changed.
School is like prison. There are people who will enjoy beating you.So fight. even if you migh lose. One bloody nose on a enemy might discourage him in the future and move on to a more pliabe person even if you lose.
On the other hand, you might win. In that case, beat the bully every chance you get. Make him/her your bitch.
