WASHINGTON (Reuters) Political survival will be high on lawmakers' minds when the Democratic-led U.S. Congress returns to work on Tuesday amid widespread voter dissatisfaction with its performance.
While the debates over healthcare reform, global warming and banking legislation and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan will dominate the airwaves, many incumbents, both Democrats and Republicans, are beginning to worry about holding on to their seats in November 2010 elections.
Polls show only about one-third of Americans approve of how lawmakers are doing, less than a year after President Barack Obama led Democrats to big gains in Congress.
Surveys find voters have a dim view of both parties, but history suggests Obama's Democrats face greater risks because they control Congress and the White House.

They will pay for their foolishness and despicable marxist ideology with their jobs. "Workers of the world unite?" Malarky. Voters of America unite!

You do know what the constitution is don't you. Me and women have been dying to protect and defend it for a good while now.
Nancy Pelosi is the most unpopular Speaker in US history.

While the debates over healthcare reform, global warming and banking legislation and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan will dominate the airwaves. That's obvious partisan media shilling -- MOST people are at best concerned, at worst outraged, over Obamacare, Obama's persistent anti-Americanism, the destruction of jobs, and the kowtowing to the demands of the very foreigners who are responsible for 9/11. NO ONE gives a good [bleep bleep bleep] about so-called global warming (or at least, the majority does NOT, and the rest are such morons that the majority should resent being told what to do by the morons), and are of the belief that the US involvement in Iraq has wound down (but that Obama hasn't brought home the troops). NO ONE but leftist stools, er, stooges oppose the Afghan Surge or the War on Terror.
Crazy! This Reuters article says that that Dims in Congress must pass a major Health Care bill to keep their majority. I say it’s just the opposite.
That's why I fully expect Reid & Pelosi to pull a fast-one: they're going to pass this in secret in the middle of the night just before the Thanksgiving holiday.
They've already publicly ostracized the GOP, so they'll reason (if you can call it that) the "majority of Americans support health insurance reform". And as such, only Congressional members who secretly pledge to vote in favor of it, will attend a secret meeting to pass it.

I think they know that, panic has already set in but they are going down the denial trail on a ride they no longer control.
