I wonder how well the polls are going to do this week as the Van Jones situation sinks in.

Wait till the Mr. Green Jeans resignation hits their base. And on top of that Wednesday he is going to dump the public option. His strongly approve numbers will take a dive. He is in a major tailspin.

Such pretty lines.

May that nice red one continue its incline and the green one crash and burn.

Yesterday we received two automated phone calls on whether we wanted national health care or not. (By two of our cowardly congresscritters who refused to hold town hall meetings.)

Some thing's in the air. I have a feeling these critters are arming themselves to go back to Washington and tell the president nobody wants this thing.

Really, it's not very good at all if you look at the "real" poll, which is now 49%-51%. He's crawled back from 45%/53% earlier in the week.

Now, he has shown this "mountain range" pattern, down two, up one, plateau, down two, up one, etc. And perhaps now the Van Jones thing will also have an effect.

0bama’s sinking faster than a 1967 Oldsmobile Delmont 88.

I’m not the sharpest scholar when it comes to polls, so just throwing this out here in case someone can educate me.
Looking at that graph of 0bama’s poll numbers, how it steadily sinks...has any president recovered from a slide like that? Fate and fortune aside, do those numbers just sort of drift along in low tide for three years?

Questions like that are the Problem right now. The Democrats are framing the debate thatDemocrats want to reform Health care to Help the poor and that Republicans want to do NOTHING or Maintain the “Status Quo”,That is a false choice ,Where is the actual debate in this SO called debate ,Where are the Free Market alternatives or the Proposals to get Govt Regulations of Insurance companies repealed ,Tort Reform, why cant we negotiate ourselves with Doctors or Hospitals ,why do we have to have Employers involved with health care at all .
DONT LET THE DEMOCRATS GET AWAY WITH FRAMING THE DEBATES AS GOVT.CONTROLLED HEALTH CARE OR NOTHING

I am cautiously optimistic. The (political) deaths of our enemies have often been predicted here and are rarely correct.

In the meantime, I will be celebrating this coming Labor Day rejoicing that I have a job that has not yet been destroyed by this administration, even though I will have to follow it to Bangalore, India in the coming months.

I believe Bill Clinton did. He shifted center after his initial leftward thrust led to a 1994 pounding in the Congressional elections.

The Van Jones debacle will have an effect to the extent that the media report on it (crickets). As the czars/advisers get chipped away at over the coming weeks and more (Lloyd, Sunstein, Holdren, etc.) are exposed fully to sunlight the public might just catch on that these radicals are mirrors of Obama. Then expect a free fall. The best thing Obama has done is assemble this motley collection of Marxists for viewing. Heck, no body had ever heard of them before they were pulled out from under their rocks.

President Bush and impeached ex-President Clinton to name two recent two-termers who recovered from falling approval ratings.

It doesn't mean much if anything yet.

And it's in the house-passed c(r)ap and trade bill that there will be expected job losses - a provision for the newly unemployed.

Yeah, you have something there. Sunstein REALLY scares me. I’ve seen his work for years circulating through the university, as though it’s legitimate to limit information because people “couldn’t handle” too many choices.
