Jones blames 'smears' for ouster (Convicted by his own mouth!)

On a slow news day, late at night, on a holiday week end when most citizens aren't paying attention to the news, the White House released a statement that Van Jones resigned.

And although Jones did earlier issue an apology for previously describing Republicans in crude terms and other questionable behavior and associations, Jones, a true member of the Obama administration, blamed the evil other, those opposed to the reforms of President Barack Obama (D), for forcing his resignation. You see, it really wasn't his fault.

"On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me," Jones, special adviser for green jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, said in a statement announcing his resignation just after midnight Saturday. "They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide."

He continued: "I have been inundated with calls -- from across the political spectrum -- urging me to 'stay and fight.' But I came here to fight for others, not for myself. I cannot in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and energy defending or explaining my past. We need all hands on deck, fighting for the future."

Spoken like a true member of the Obama administration. He won't have to worry about joining the ranks of the unemployed though--all ex President George W. Bush's fault of course--as he'll be a triumphant trophy hire for numerous environmental, and other organizations, where as a victim of the vast right wing conspiracy he'll enjoy martyr status.

The Communist, Van Jones, under the cover of darkness, crawled out a White House window and slunk across the lawn, crawled over the fence and departed.

Now. How can we get the rest of those presidential appointed commissars to get off the government payroll?

The Communist at the helm of the ship of statism will never pay attention to the American people whom he has nothing but contempt. He's beginning to see, however, that the majority of American people are waking up to the fact that their contempt for him has increased drastically.

I agree with the posts that suggest that Lloyd should be the next target. Of course, this is truly a target rich environment.

I’m sure that the press will be digging into how Jones ever got into the admin as well as asking Obama and Gibbs about how soon it will be before the rest of the Marxist agitators get removed.

Unfortunately, the Communist Jones and the CNN goon Obermann have boasted that Beck has lost 50 plus sponsors for his television and radio shows.

We need to counter this by paying attention to the sponsors that haven't jumped ship so we can patronize them and also to check on the ones who left so we can boycott their products and services.
