Sunday Morning Talk Show Thread ping list. Let me know if you want on or off the list!
Thread is up.
Another boring Sunday. RINOs and Obamabots...
Hi there AB! Thanks for the thread and a happy VJ (Van Jones) Day!
Well Newt is usually interesting, Giuliani and/or Ford may talk about running for office, and Pence and sometimes Pawlenty can be pretty good. No McCain or Graham at least.
Thanks for pinging me...as always yours is the first thread I check Sunday...Looks like you have become part of my Sunday AM, coffee, paper, ritual. ha.
and....HAPPY VJ (VAN JONES OUT!) DAY!
This has to be the C or D list of guests, because of the holiday weekend.
Tim Pawlenty on CNN is probably the only person with something new to say.
I have been spending time watching very old videotapes - before Fox News was on air - many of the cast of pundits of those days are still on air, and more disconnected from real life than ever.
You got that right. I’ve been watching the Sunday shows since I was a child, long before cable tv!
I also watched PBS—Washington Week in Review, Louis Ruckheyser’s Wall Street Week, and even remember watching the very first McLaughlin Group. Jack Germon and Eleanor Clift. Just as wrong and stupid then as now.
My father watched all the Sunday Talk shows when I was child. Like you, I grew up on them.
Me too- weaned on all those shows.
The best though, was my grandmother forcing me to watch Willima F Buckley and John Kenneth Galbraith debate on Firing Line. I tried really hard to worm my way out of it- but she wasn’t someone you said no to:) It was years before I confessed to her that I was grateful!
Axelrod might be interesting today- he’ll be covering for Van Jones.
I’m sure the shows will be wall-to-wall coverage of Van Jones being thrown under the bus.
N O T!
They are exactly the shows that my mother taped and saved!
Another boring Sunday. RINOs and Obamabots
Anything to get the Barak Eddie Hussein Haskel Obama Health Care bill across the finish line
Don’t know when these shows were taped. They may all be yesterday’s news.
Morning AB and everyone. I’ll be lurking for the most part but it’s a glorious day with Van Jones resigning. Only FOX covered his radicalism so I’m sure something will be said there. I wonder if any other network will finally recognize the situation now, since they ignored it this whole time?
Good to see you here NN, usually you are too busy with the Hurricane threads this time of year, but we don’t even have a tropical depression in the Atlantic.
Happy VJ Day to all !! Glenn Beck is the BEST !!
One down .....many more Czars to go including King Czar Obama !!
Gregory better ask Axelrod about VJ this morning ....I want to know how a VJ could happen !!
Education Secretary Arne Duncan
I wonder if they will ask the BOE and superintendents were bypassed in seting up this speech.
I also am curious about WHO wrote up the initail proposed follow up discussion with the children.
