With today’s cornucopia of venues ,, he can afford to pick and choose.. It’ll be interesting to see and hear what he has to offer up.

I’m holding out hope that Mr. Trafficant steps back into public life with his firebrand unattenuated passion.
I would hate to see such a fighter personally threatened and defeated by the undertow of a corrupt punitive government.

Actually, I hope Rush will score a ratings bonanza and have a special, rare interview with Jim.
I would have loved to hear Jim’s rants about so much spending by the congress.
Beam me up, Mr Speaker.

I wish him well.. If he can throw some light on the rest of the cockroaches in politics, More power to him.
He could likely run and be elected, hence showing that being a criminal , convicted formally or otherwise, is not a failing when it comes to a seat in Congre$$ these days.

I suspect he could do serious damage if he has a heart for revenge.

Aural projection? No that’s right. He’ll come for the rubber chicken dinner, better than what he’s had in a while.

Petty stuff like having his congressional staff run errands and (lol) paint his barn.
No fear, the real criminals are still in power.

For starters, I will mention
ALCEE HASTINGS (D-FL)10 YRS AS FEDERAL JUDGE, IMPEACHED FOR CORRUPTION & PERJURY
NOW A PROUD, ELECTED MEMBER OF CONGRESS SINCE 1993
....BTW..on the Washington Post Bio section for Hastings, it just lists he was Circuit Court Judge, Federal Judge, Elected to Congress 1993-PRESENT...
ABOUT LIKE SAYING TED KENNEDY HAD A TRAFFIC TICKET IN 1969 FOR MISSING A TURN....

I used to work with Jimbo Traficant's niece several years ago... She was very upfront about his political activities when we would talk. Said that yes, he would help out individuals when and where he could, but not to the extent of being any more "corrupt" than anyone else on "The Hill." When I asked her to explain, she said that he would try to steer legislation to help his constituents when he could, because he was in Washington for them and felt it was his duty to do what he could to help them. She said that he was pretty much a "what you see is what you get" kind of guy that even respected the humor that people found in his wearing a hair piece. She acknowledged that his biggest problem in that area was that he literally got "ruffled" and then would end up in a photo somewhere that was about as unattractive as could possibly be. Be that as it may, you have to give him credit for speaking his mind against other politicians, no matter their party. And that is what got him in trouble... When everyone in your party is knee-deep in crap, it is best not to sling it on the others - to do so will cause them to organize against you and drown you in it.

As Cripplecreek said Trafficant got in trouble for “petty stuff”, but he took on the IRS and exposed and complained about their tactics. Next thing you know he goes to prison. You can’t mess with the IRS—the ones the messiah wants to monitor his healthcare compliance! I still think he was railroaded because despite his being a Democrat—most people in Youngstown Ohio are—, he gave his One Minute rants about Democrats’ stupidity.
