Dick Morris, speaking on FOX's "On the Record" on Sept. 3, said that Van Jones, President Barack Obama's "green jobs" adviser, must resign after he reportedly signed a petition calling for an investigation into whether 9/11 was an inside job.
Morris was not dissuaded by Jones' subsequent denial that he believed there was an actual conspiracy.
"An investigation as to whether it was an inside job or not? You have got to be kidding," Morris said. "And this guy is in the administration and they're not calling for him to quit? What does Obama use for vetters?"
Jones also got into hot water this week regarding an expletive he used in describing Republicans.
Morris also said Obama's healthcare plan is in deep trouble. He said abandoning the public option would spell doom in the House. "The people's republic of Pelosi won't approve of it," he said. And keeping the public option and putting it to a vote won't get him the 60 votes he needs to shut off debate.
Comparing Obama's healthcare push to Bill and Hillary Clinton's in 1993, Morris said: "The big difference between Clinton's approach and his approach is that Clinton never tried to emasculate Medicare. Obama is. The Clinton approach was not to take money from the elderly and give it to others."

Surely Morris is not this naive. The vetting process for Van Jones worked to perfection. Jones is a model of the type of individual that Obama sees as the natural leaders of this country. He is being groomed for Congressman or Senator. Successfully groomed? I doubt it. But there is no doubt that was the intent.
Van Jones is the quintessential representative of the Obama administration: racist, bolshevik, jailbird.
Only in modern day America could such an asinine job title exist.

Obama still doesn't understand that a man is known by the company he keeps. He managed to fool the electorate with his pious denials of Reverend Wright and Bill Ayers, but it's become impossible for him to hide his pattern of poor judgment when choosing friends and associates. Van Jones has tasted “real power” for probably the first time in his life. They’ll have to drag him out kicking and screaming. I really hope Obama does nothing and lets this spectacle continue for weeks or even months.
The MSM buried the Ayers and Wright stories and they’re trying to do the same thing with Van Jones. If not for Fox News, and Glenn Beck in particular, no one would know who this guy is.
Jones is someone Obama has known for years, are friends, and ideological soul mates. There was no need for vetting. Obama wanted Jones to help create his “remaking of america” project. Most of the vetting and FBI checks are meaningless in this administration as compared to previous administrations. The “left-wing” is the right/correct wing in these choices. The only reason to vet is to find out if there are any closet conservatives being appointed.
Why does Obama even have these “czars” as high level people in the first place?
Why does he have an education czar when there is a cabinet level Dept of Education, with a secretary of Education?
And why does he need an energy czar when there is a cabinet level Dep’t of Energy, with a secretary of Energy?
These czars, in some cases, are redundant. Since they are czars and not cabinet level people, they don’t have to be confirmed by the Senate. And there’s no accountability to anyone else in the gov’t or Congress. There’s only the loyalty to Obama himself.
A president can get advice from anybody he wants. However, was it legal to set up these czars; was there money in the budget to pay them their big paychecks, for example? Was there already money appropriated to give them an office staff and all the other ancillary expenses related to these czars??????

Zero will be using the same vetters next time as vote count organizers to insure the likes of Van Jones are bestowed "elected" positions, not merely czar positions next time around. After all, that's where the big bucks are made if one plays the correct cards.

The question, obviously rhetorical, appears to be a challenge mainly to congress to get in on this act. Beck challenged the FBI, someone else wanted the Secret Service to explain the vetting; but no one’s yet mentioned the CIA. If I were Panetta, I wouldn’t mind heeding a call to investigate the vetters.
I thought for sure the RNC or top senators (both parties) would be upset over apptmnts and demand they be curtailed asap. This is a dictatorship.

What would Van Jones be doing if he wasn't a White House "green jobs" czar? Leading Alinskyite shakedowns, protests, and riots in Oakland? Without the secret handshakes and backroom deals that led him from Harvard to Washington, what would Obama be doing back in Chicago? "Community organizing" with Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers? Corporate shakedowns?
