AuH2O, you may know more about them than I do at this point, if you researched them thoroughly. Yes, Daly may be a special case. He is a pro-lifer though, and has worked on populist issues, like the Constitutional referendum (for direct initiative, etc.) last fall.

Good to hear Daly is pro-life. His website was mute on the issue, which I guess is just as well in the socially liberal CT-02; if asked, he should say that he is pro-life and explain why, but there is no need for him to center his campaign around the issue.

As I said, Daly’s platform sounded fine, but I think it’s a bit of a jump for him to run for Congress. Do you know who I would like to see run in the CT-02? The RINO Simmons. It’s a really tough district for us (much harder to win than the CT-04 or CT-05), and Simmons could get it back (and vote with us half the time) in a good environment.

As for the governorship, I can’t believe that McKinney would be any better than Rell. How are Fedele and Cafero on the issues?
