NEW YORK Defense Secretary Robert Gates expressed disappointment Friday at news outlets that used a picture taken and distributed by The Associated Press depicting a U.S. Marine mortally wounded in combat in Afghanistan.
The AP distributed the picture despite personal pleas from Gates and the dead Marine's family in a case that illustrated the difficult decisions in reporting on a conflict where Americans have seen relatively few images of fallen U.S. troops over eight years.

No doubt Google.com has something to do with this.
The Ap has been an avid opponent ofthe war in the Middle East, and has not hesitated to spread lies and to use other means to discredit the United States. They should be treated as the enemy.
Strong words from Gates, but thanks to his defense budget cutting and gutting, there will be many more military deaths that he is responsible for.
This, at least, is Vietnam all over again - a press organization openly hostile to our efforts pulls out all the stops to inflame public opinion against them, and then, with tooth-gritting hypocrisy, bleats that it's all for the sake of the troops. It isn't, or their, and their families' wishes in the matter would have been respected. It's all about the proganda and nothing but.
accredidation=accreditation. Too mad to type straight.
Try a Googleization image search on WTC Jumpers, mu....you didn’t look hard enough.
Not believable. The newsmedia were all notified ahead of time to get out of there.

AP is a heartless news media outlet that hates America and slants articles on our country and our military to make the USA look like the world’s bad guy. We are the good guys and no other country has done so much for the human race over the last 250 years.
Gates should pull the accredidation of every AP embed and send the bunch of them back

“Although occasional reports of the abduction had found their way onto the Internet, the Times and other media had kept the kidnapping quiet out of a concern for the men’s safety, it said.”
The fires of hell await this scum.
Rewrite that to: “AP has been an avid supporter of the Taliban in Afghanistan......”
