The boys were bused to Burbank yesterday for an appearance last night on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. Never mind that most of the 12- and 13-year-olds didn't know Conan O'Brien from Conan the Barbarian.
Nope, said Park View second baseman Bulla Graft. Never heard of him.
After O'Brien's monologue and Sandra Bullock's appearance to promote her new movie, up to the stage stepped all 12 players, wearing baby-blue T-shirts and gray baseball pants and earning the audience's hearty applause.

The big guy, Luke Ramirez, (6-foot-2, 205-pounds) carries his with him. Well, his mother had it in her handbag.
They bussed the real group of kids to Burbank, and must have gotten stand-ins to appear on Conan's show in Universal City.

I don’t know. I don’t watch nbc and I had no idea they were on last night. I would have watched their segment.
Too bad they couldn’t have won when the tonight show had a real host.
Crying shame they couldn't have won last year when we had a true baseball fan in the WH, instead of that poseur Biden horning-in at their World Championship game.
Quite a shame too. I loved Conan back in the Late Night days. I will admit it was a daily hour where I could go back to my sophmoric humor days. I try to enjoy him now and every once in a while see a glimpse of the good old days but they seem few and far in between now.
