How do you feel about Pres. Obama's planned address to students?
At this point, 37% = Like the idea; 48% = Don't like the idea; 13% + Don't care
BTTT!
In the words of Marine Corps vet David Hedrick: “STAY AWAY FROM MY KIDS!”
We have to watch this one the Rats are gathering
BTTT!
Needs some work. Let’s go!!!
Obma just likes to watch himself on TV.
Who are these people who don’t care?
There is something wrong. I voted, but it’s not confirming the vote and gives a blank white screen-—— not showing the results.
If I were a kid I would be looking forward to an Obama talk as much as I would be going to see an old aunt I didn’t know at a nursing home.......
People with no kids.
Matt Dixon, 6th grader, Arkansas writes:
Im a Sixth Grader. I just watched the precursor to President Obamas Sept. speech to schoolchildren. The video is entitled I pledge
My thoughts after viewing the I pledge video are: 1. This is very misleading. Frankly, the way the actors spoke was somewhat cult-like. I dont think my generation should be forced to watch this, let alone younger ones.
2. There is a lot of green talk. I believe in protecting our planet, respecting the earth, and using our God given resources wisely. I dont believe we should sacrifice our quality of life to worship the earth. We certainly shouldnt act like chicken little, looking skyward, just because we use the plastic bags at Wal-Mart. We worship God, not his creation.
3. We should not pledge allegiance to President Obama, as the people in the video did.
4. At the end of the video they ask Whats your pledge? My pledge is the same as my grandfathers pledge, the same as his grandfathers pledge, the same as all freedom loving mens pledge. Its the same pledge that led our brave soliders to protect and defend this United States. Whats my pledge?
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
This pledge is certainly better than the video pledges to only flush after a duce, not after a single, or to not give the finger when I drive.
Good job, buckaroo!
I think there is a much bigger problem with the teaching guides to help teachers indoctrinate the kids than with letting the kids see Obama speak.
Only 136 votes but up over 60% say no!
Why doesn’t he do it around dinner time so that the kids and parents can watch together?

If a president speaks to the nation's kids before a national holiday and explains the importance of honoring our founders, national heroes, encourage learning the Constitution, etc. It would be great. But this president is not a patriot, he is not a citizen for the kids to emulate - in fact there is a dispute whether or not he is a citizen at all - a question yet to be answered, doncha know!!..
