She advocated the destruction of our own country, why wouldn’t she do the same for Israel?
Israel has one support in its defense a lot of people deny or won’t admit, God the All Mighty.
My mistake and apologies to Rabbi Hier. For some reason, I was confusing him with Rabbi Michael Lerner. I don't know why. Lerner has publicly criticized some anti-Semitic comments made by other Hollywood types, and somehow I conflated the two Rabbis. Again, my apologies to Rabbi Hier, who seems to be a non-partisan fellow.
I’m wondering why he would care ... its not like she’s got an army or a nuclear bomb ... what a waste of air.
No worries. It’s easy to confuse people in the times we are in. I wasn’t questioning you per se, but looking for any evidence that supported your post. It’s good that we are able to obtain clarification in order to ascribe truth to the correct person or persons.

An Oscar-winning rabbi is condemning the actions of Jane Fonda, Danny Glover and Eve Ensler... Fonda, Glover and Ensler have decided to boycott the festival and signed their name to a letter sent to festival officials -- a letter that claims Tel Aviv was built on "thousands of destroyed Palestinian villages" and that the program "ignores the suffering of thousands of former residents and descendants."... "By calling into question the legitimacy of Tel Aviv, they are supporting a one-state solution, which means the destruction of the State of Israel. I applaud the organizers of the festival for celebrating on the 100th anniversary of Tel Aviv. If every city in the Middle East would be as culturally diverse, as open to freedom of expression as Tel Aviv is, then peace would long have come to the Middle East."
