My husband and I met him and many others on a cruise sponsored by National Geographic and The Aspen Institute. He talked about supporting job growth in California, but of course I did not do a background check of his past over dinner. As these reports have surfaced, its clear that he holds views that I entirely reject; any suggestion otherwise is ridiculous. --Meg Whitman

Jesse Helms was a giant. Slick Willard is an assclown (and so are his sycophants).
thompson? LoL
This moron has been doing this since he arrived. Check his posting history, and search for “Fred”. He’s obviously some wacko obsessed stalker, because he bashes FRed in just about every comment.
I’ve been ignoring the little weasel for months.
At least she knows when to reject the Commie—and did so as soon as possible. Obama could learn from her. He was a fool for appointing this jive talking clown.
Bwahahaha!!
Good catch ... we are being pooped upon at FR of late by the radical fools Axelgreasy sends out to play disinformation ont he Internet.
I smell a retread...
Oh you are going to be fun the next few months...
I dunno, she lost me at "on a cruise in Antarctica on climate change.
Fred Thompson is far from being a wacko and free-speech hater. Your name calling is juvenile. Surely you can address issues without it. So did you vote for Obama or Ron Paul?
Okay, I just looked at his posting history. He's obviously a Mittwit who thinks trashing FRed will make people love the cash for clunkers salesman.
Hey, (sc)heisster, why would I take you seriously when you can't even spell FRed's name properly? It's Thompson. You know, as in Jim Thompson - FR's formidable host.
She couldn’t know Jones was a commie nut by talking to him on the claimate change cruise. But I know she’s a nut by being onboard the good ship AGW.
From Wikipedia:
“Whitman was a supporter of former Bain & Company CEO and Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign in 2008 and was on his “National Finance Team”. She was also listed as Finance co-chair of Romney’s exploratory committee. However, after Romney stepped out of the race, and endorsed McCain, Whitman joined John McCain’s presidential campaign as a national co-chair.”
i voted for the candidate who (according to most polls) was number #1 choice for those members of the Republican Party who self-identified themselves as conservatives.
and the name calling should go both ways (meaning for all gop candidates).
I think CFR and all the liberal BS that was coming out of the Senate Centrist Coalition was the biggest threat to this country. Unfortunately, McCain, Lindsay Graham and Fred Thomson were the GOP leaders in that Coalition advocating so called bi-partisan solutions. Truth hurts.
I think any GOP Senator who voluntarily joins the Centrist Coalition should be declared traitor immediately. There is no excuse for that.
great point, they're (go w/ the crowd) lemmings.
Double bonus points...
Yet I am sure you would give Romneycare a pass...
You are really going to be fun...
Mitt, leave the GOP, re-join your buddies ... and take megster with you.
"McQueeg and Friend, talking about how they screw those stupid conservatives".
