Soooo...another thread is discussing The School Speech next week. Someone mentioned that the speech will be on the net. Here's my idea.
if parents still wish for their child to see the video they can seek it out on the internet at home
Just for grins and giggles I think I'm going find the video, try to watch it without barfing and then write a letter detailing how I can "help" the president.
I'll open with, "Hello Mr President, I'm a FReeper and I'm here to HELP you!"

Ha!! I’d like to see it as well (If I can get past the revulsion of having to look at obummer!) Did you hear the guy who just called in? He called Eisenhower school about watching with his daughter. Principal said he couldn’t come to the school and watch with his daughter. It’s “policy”.
My son went to school there. Lots of kids of college professors from IUP go there.

I suspect this principal-and many others-are about to be inundated with phone calls.
The celebrity spot Quinn had about “serving the President” did in fact make me dry heave.

I'd ask the principal to show me the policy in writing. Then whether he did or not I'd complain to the school board.
