NEW YORK (Reuters) - Colin Beavan so despaired at a lack of political action on climate change that he decided to see what difference he could make by living for a year with as little impact on the environment as possible.
Beavan and his reluctant wife, Michelle Conlin, drastically changed their lifestyle, doing their best not to create trash, cause carbon dioxide emissions or pour toxins into the water supply and by buying only local produce.

Good for these people living out their principles. Voluntarily. Unlike how they want us to do it.

I guess one steaming 24/7 factory in China erases his “no impact” for a lifetime in the time I wrote this quip of FR.

Compare to AlGore.
I'll give the guy credit for putting his money where his mouth is.
He's still an idiot, just not a hypocritical one.

1) heat (and A/C further south)
2) transportation
Everything else is irrelevant noise. Living without light or a fridge is possible, just buy some solar panels and batteries. But try living without heat. Also going without transportation or even paved roads to bike on. Also most of us don't want to live in a liberal rathole just so we can walk or bike everywhere.

May we assume that they’re at the bottom of a cliff somewhere?
H2O comprises 95% of the “greenhouse gases”.
CO2 comprises about 3.5%.
The variation in the density of H2O in the atmosphere is greater than ANY POTENTIAL contribution man could be making to CO2 levels.
Therefore, man has NO IMPACT ON THE CLIMATE!!!!

This is little different than the way our grandparents or great grandparents lived thus if the environmentalists have their way we would move our standard of living back 100 years. I seriously doubt most Americans would be will to voluntarily move their standard of living back a century especially when the liberal elites like Al Gore will continue to live their lavish lifestyles while we have to live without electricity or modern plumbing.
