I'm going to ask mine if they'd like to stay home. Even if it's not televised, it doesn't mean some liberalizing teacher won't decide its 'historic' enough or 'relevant' enough to bring it into the lesson plan.
I almost wish mine were eager to take an approved hooky day, but they don't like doing all the make-up work.

I also heard in Massachusetts that some kids got homework assignments over the summer to read 0bama’s autobiography (the one written by Bill Ayers).
