My kid's school [Central Texas] have already announced they won't televise the speech due to the 'technical difficulties' of a live telecast, but they'll make it available online so parents can view it with their children if they want to.

This is brilliant! “My kid’s school [Central Texas] have already announced they won’t televise the speech due to the ‘technical difficulties’ of a live telecast ... “

I have heard Tomball ISD in TX will not be showing the speech live but will instead record and review it. Then they'll evaluate it to see if it's appropriate to show.

It's optional at Conroe ISD (also TX) but I have a request in to the school board to find out the agenda and if the infamous "I Pledge" video will be shown.

I also understand from the lone conservative at the Houston Chronicle that a "kit" has been distributed ahead of the speech.

Our district will not be showing it either. According to the radio news, few, if any local schools will be seeing it until later, and then with parental consent.
