Any more info, Earnest.
Indonesia yesterday, now southern Japan. Heads up
Well....see the map.
I saw this on a newsbanner on the TV ...and came into my computer room and cheched the USGS site and found this.
Guess the next thing is to check for casualty reports on the news wires.
Did the 7.2 Indonesia quake ever make it onto a thread here?
We had a 4 sizable 4. size quakes hit off the coast here in the PNW.
211 miles offshore (to far to be felt) had it been withen 100 miles they would have been felt on land.
Made me a bit nervous (not overly) as a daily quake map watcher.
Have also had micros up and down the coast on land.
I ponder if it isnt the under sea volcanic activity.
I am intrigued by the under sea volcanoes.
The pacific rim has been quite active recently, but nothing on our west coast ... just sayin’.
I think so.
Not sure where you are today (tonight,) but sure hoping you’re OK.
thanks. verrrrrry far away from that action. appreciate the message,
Glad to hear it, American. I wasn’t sure how much you move around the joint. :-)
full moon last night too. Expect more.
