Historically Western Judeo-Christian cultures have produced (eventually) superior forms of government. That's not a carte blance for anyone of Judeo-Christian faith to start claiming that the specific doctrines of their faith have to be codified into law in order to have a government that's consistent with that "worldview".

Doctrines like *Do not steal*? *Do not murder*? *Do not lie*?

All the laws we have on our books have their roots in moral precepts, primarily based on Judeo-Christian principles.

No one here is advocating for a theocracy, which you know full well, but without the moral underpinnings that Judaism and Christianity provide, there will be no civilized society.

Those aren't unique to Christianity, but you knew that when you posted it.
