And told everybody about it with a level of detail usually limited to soap operas, Harlequin romances, and letters to the editor of Playboy. Had he not been mentioned as a possible GOP presidential candidate or been a mere liberal Democratic senator from Massachusetts or North Carolina running for president while boinking a groupie, it would have received less coverage.
