“A witness from the scene told KTLA the man who got his finger bitten off was walking through the anti-reform group to get to the pro-reform group when he got in an altercation with someone from the anti-reform side.

The man apparently punched the person from the anti-reform side. In the scuffle that ensued, that person bit the man’s pinky finger, severing it.”

I’m confused... does this mean the man who had his finger bit off was pro-Obocare? It sure looks like it.

According to the linked story, a man was walking through an anti-Obama crowd to get to the pro-Obama crowd. During that time, he got into an altercation with a 65 year old man (who was anti-Obama).

The old man (anti-Obama) punched the pro-Obama man and he, in turn, bit off the old man’s finger.

The man who lost his finger does not support Obama’s health care reform.

I'm trying to sort this out also. The way I see it:

Pro-reform guy walks through anti-reform group.

Something ticked him off and he punches someone from anti-reform group. Pro-reform guy starts the violence.

Anti-reform person who was punched bites pro-reform person's pinky off.

There. Clear as mud for now.
