Hidden camera pictures in the report show dozens of private party or unlicensed gun purchases where no identification is requested or shown.

Well, I doubt that richly, but if that were true, then I'm sure that it would have been borne out of a desire to avoid FOSTERING AN ATMOSPHERE OF INTIMIDATION.

Or wishing to avoid establishing unreasonable barriers, ya know...?

1. Must show ID to enter Town Hall

2. Must show ID to buy firearm

3. No need to show ID to vote

No, it is true that private parties incidentally buying or selling a gun for their own collection don't need to show ID's. You know, EXACTLY THE SAME RULES FOR PRIVATE PARTY SALES NOT AT A GUN SHOW! These guys are ignorant of the law, and yet they still expect us to listen to their conclusions as if they meant something.
