Wrong, money is money is fungible. If the feds give district money for lunches or for special ed teachers the district doesn’t have to take that money from other sources.

Not that any of that matters. You have your kids in a socialist school and others are subsidizing your lifestyle.

In Texas the average a district spends per pupil is $11,000.00 and change. Few people pay $11,000.00 in school taxes. Look at your property tax bill. Deduct what you pay in school tax from $11,000.00 or if you are in a “poor” district from $8000.00 which used to be the Robin Hood minimum. That’s the amount you are being subsidized by money taken by force from others. If you have more than one kid your subsidy is more.

People who using the socialist schools are feeding at the public trough just like people who live in public housing or take WIC payments are.

The arguments for having socialized schooling are the same arguments people use for pushing socialized medicine. Neither one has a place in a free society. We need to return to a capitalist schooling system and do away with all socialist schools.

No, I’m not wrong, sorry. Federal money is not fungible. I was school board treasurer for years.

And NO, federal funds do not pay for classroom teachers or for school property.
