And yes, $444,000 is a big chunk of money, and yes I misstated, they cut our funds by HALF a billion dollars. You are correct I did not make that clear.
You have no idea what you are talking about as far as accounting or even simple bookkeeping, you can’t do sixth grade math, yet a socialized schooling system however, allows someone who doesn’t know that to be treasure of the school board. LOL
I do want to thank you though. I’ve printed out your posts to use in my next talk on the urgent need to do away with government schools and return to a capitalist schooling system.
Like I said, your insults and obvious lack of knowledge about school finance and school funding speaks for itself.

I was trying to figure out Reagan’s and Bush’s speech too. It almost sounded like they were broadcast in the evening (Reagan’s was on C-span) and then rebroadcast the following day in school. But I could never find a difinitive answer. Most of the searches brought me to liberal blogs, etc. that were “proving” that Obama is just doing what they did.
However, then why would the Whithouse call Obama’s speech “historic”?
Reagan’s speech was based more on the ideas of capitalism, people having independence, lower taxes, etc. Bush’s was an anti-drug message I believe.
Okay - here’s one such liberal rag. Sounds like “early afternoon” in D.C. would be a live thing and probably after school hours for most of the country where you could watch it together as a family. Then rebroadcast the following day. I’ll be doing the same with my kids getting Obama’s speech of the internet on Monday.
In the early afternoon hours of November 14, 1988, President Reagan, seated in the White House State Dining Room, proclaimed that he was “particularly pleased to be talking to American students” and then added ”a special hello to those of you who are watching on C-Span.”
While the Obama speech is focused on education, Mr. Reagan started with a short speech that centered on government, democracy and free elections:
“The most important thing you can do is to ground yourself in the ideas and values of the American Revolution. And that is a vision that goes beyond economics and politics. It’s also a moral vision, grounded in the reverence and faith of those who believed that with God’s help they could create a free and democratic nation.”
The President then opened-up the floor to students from Washington’s Jefferson Junior High School. [I think there were four students with him.]
The questions were tough — from gun laws to the line-item veto.
Mr. Reagan explained why it was important to continue Republican policies.
