Have you ever flown coast to coast across this country? (That is a rhetorical you) It is empty. Look down from that plane.
Lots and lots of space.
I have noticed that. Miles and miles of nothing.
“Lots and lots of space.”
Agreed, but, alas, much of that space is owned by gooberment agencies.
Unconstitutionally in government hands, I must add.
The Founders wisely limited what lands the government could own, and furthermore they defined why said lands could be owned by government.
Nah. It just looks that way. Rifle ranges, ya know...
THat is exactly what I thought, the first time I flew more than 50 years ago. I was a new convert to Catholicism and I was flying to my own wedding. My parents did not approve, so they were opting out, providing a lame excuse although they paid for the wedding. My new MIL was dying of cancer, so we moved the ceremony to where she was living instead of having it in my own town.
But I looked down at all that space and thought there is plenty of room in this country that hasn't even been touched yet.
I wasn't as prolific as Michelle Dugger, but 4 kids and 11 grandkids later, and I have a very nice family.
