This incompetent coward put politics before the SC. He should have retired several years ago.

Elections have consequences. I don’t think we’ll ever see a remotely conservative Supreme Court for another 30 years. I wonder how long it will take a new court to review the second amendment again.

I’m thinking Diane Watson or Sheila Jackson Lee.

Resident Soetoro will nominate the first Afro-Hispanic-Arab Muslim homosexual transgendered “woman” to the bench.

As long as one of the conservative justices do not retire.

I’m laying odds on a handicapped, Asian lesbian, myself.

I have been known to go out on a limb with such predictions.

At any rate, they will be members of the babykillers cult.

He’s been on the liberal side I believe. This shouldn’t be a huge change IMO.

I agree that elections have consequences, but this one is fairly minor (as was Souter's resignation). One liberal will replace another. If Scalia decides to step down during Obama's presidency, then it's time to worry.

The Honorable Justice Bernadine Dohrn.

(I know she can’t pass any state bar, but is that a qualification?).

The balance isn't moving - liberals replacing liberals is a wash.

You knew Zero would appoint at least two communists to the SCOTUS, no biggy though, they’re simply replacing other communists. But here’s hoping that the she-male RINOS, like the fairy voiced Lindsy Graham, get the boot in 2010. Am I the only one who believes that the delicate Lindsy has a personal affection for Barney Frank?

Speculation is also rising that he will die by the end of the year. I will try to get him in Howie Carr’s new death pool.
