CHICAGO (STNG/AP) -- A southwest suburban man is free on bond Tuesday after he was arrested for allegedly trying to bring weapons into the Daley Center by hiding them in his belt.
Jamie Busk, 38, of Evergreen Park was stopped about 2 p.m. Monday at the Daley Center entrance...
Among the items found in the belt were a pocket knife with a 2-inch blade and handcuff keys.

The buckle of Busk's belt was fashioned into what appears to be a small cutting or slicing weapon. (CCSD)
This small bladed tool was hidden inside the zipper pouch of Busk's belt. (CCSD)
A handcuff key as also hidden inside the belt with the bladed tool. (CCSD)
A zipper pouch used to conceal the weapons ran much of the length of Busk's belt. (CCSD)
Or not.
Handcuff keys????
A pocket knife was also among the weapons allegedly hidden inside Busk's belt. (CCSD)
Wow! A 2” pocket knife....those Chicago thugs really come well armed.

It was rude of him to upset some of the other patrons.
Hey, that small bladed tool looks like a small saw and a can opener, yeah this is some scary guy, he might saw the branch off an (very small) endangered tree and then open a can of worms and go fishing, will the terror never end?
Exactly. There was a story a few years ago about a suspect that was sitting in the back of a police car with his hands handcuffed in front of him. He had a handcuff key hidden in his sock. He pulled it out, freed his hands, and then grabbed the one of the officer's guns, shooting and killing both. There's no reason any non law enforcement person should have one of these on their person.
LOL!
your scenario sounds like a potential hate crime against small mouth bass! He must be stopped, waaaaah!
That's a perfect Sarah Brady comment.
You’re right. We should all have handcuff keys. I stand corrected.
I’ve seen more menacing butter knives.
I can think of a good reason.
Say you get arrested and thrown in the back seat of a cruiser.
You could then use the concealed key to free yourself so that you could disarm the cop and then shoot him.
I'll thank you to stay out of my bedroom...
I'm not, so I don't carry one.
I'm moderately concerned about carjacking or mugging ... so I carry a concealed pistol.
Some folks use exactly your argument to support the notion that I shouldn't even be allowed to own the pistol.
Do lawyers bring pens into the court room? Nuff said.
