Even many liberals with legal experience in this country were almost embarrassed by how marginal that Sotomayor dingbat was. One of them (it may have been Jeffrey Toobin) even lamented that they've never been able to come up with a liberal nominee who can even come close to the sharp legal mind of someone like Antonin Scalia.
well, look at his surgeon general. Obama can’t pick a woman that competes with him.
after the next election cycle, the GOP will need to find some kahones and exercise their Constitutional Authority to expand the Supreme Court to 11 or 13 members. It will be difficult and controversial, but after Obama, will be absolutely necessary if we are to save the Republic.
I like your idea!
Expanding on your idea. Currently nine. We can go to 11, to commemorate 9/11.
Yep, the big worry now is Scalia.
Why on earth did people stay home rather than voting for McCain? Hold your nose and lets have all these liberals try to wait out another 4 years.
I’m on my knees every night praying for the health of Scalia, Thomas, Roberts, Alito and Kennedy. I think I’ll add Stevens tonight.
The Republicans should have made better selections than their liberal appointees: Blackmun, Stevens, O’Connor, Kennedy, and Souter.
Why on Earth did idiotic primary voters get a liberal loser like McCain nominated?
