I still remember when I chanced onto Glenn Beck’s show on CNN. I wondered who this nondescript looking guy was. He seemed like the sort of person who fades into the background, I saw no evidence of distinguishing characteristics, let alone charisma. His rise seems to me to be solely attributable to what he says and what he says needs saying. When I watch him now I still marvel and wonder how he got his start in an age when looks and “cool” seem to count for more than anything else. More power to him!!
In an interview with BOR (I think), he said he had been stifled at CNN. Now, on Fox, he can be honest.
I love, and find it very cool, that Glenn wears sneaks and sometimes jeans along with his suit jacket and button-down oxford shirt!
