t sounds like the plot for the latest summer horror movie. Imagine, for a moment, that George W Bush had been allowed a third term as president, had run and had won or stolen it, and that we were all now living (and dying) through it. With the Democrats in control of Congress but Bush still in the Oval Office, the media would certainly be talking endlessly about a mandate for bipartisanship and the importance of taking into account the concerns of Republicans. Can't you just picture it?

Now, here's the funny part. This dark fantasy of a third Bush term is also an accurate portrait of President Barack Obama's first term to date. In following Bush, Obama was given the opportunity either to restore the rule of law and the balance of powers or to firmly establish in place what were otherwise aberrant abuses of power. Thus far, Obama has, in all the areas mentioned above, chosen the latter course. Everything described, from the continuation of crimes to the efforts to hide them away, from the corruption of corporate power to the assertion of the executive power to legislate, is Obama's presidency in its first seven months.

If I was a grad student in psychiatry, a study of Swanson’s psychosis would make an outstanding dissertation. I think they’d even let me skip residency.
Follows the recent trend in the polls of the moonbats being upset with their messiah.
How is this not a Bush third term? He’s following Bush’s inexorable falling off to the left. I don’t think Bush would be advocating taking over health care and industry but he certainly “abandoned free market principles”.
Hope he's talking about undoing the Obama presidency but I somehow doubt it
At least he is consistent...and I can respect consistent moonbattery more than moonbattery followed by hypnosis.
Some who suffer from BDS are those who fail to see what Bush really stood for and just how big of a leftist he really is.
As I have pointed out to several liberals who say Bush, Bush, Bush is there isn’t really too much difference between the two of them.
Bush supported HUGE government, the first bailouts, doubled the Dept of Education, the largest transfer of wealth with his FREE drugs to seniors. The illegal alien reform, read amnesty.
He tried to give us a nitwit as a SCOTUS nominee, and there are several other socialist actions he was in favor of. Anyway my point is Bush is a socislist, not as bad as Obamafascist but a socialist none the less.
And his border policy did not keep us safe for 8 years, just asked those who have family members killed, raped and robbed by illegal aliens.
Me, I am glad Bush is gone.
He’s kind of right.
If they want to talk about a stolen election - try JFK in 1960. Plenty of real problems - check Illinois, Texas and even NJ. By county NJ was all for Nixon except for the cities where the election was handed to JFK. Democratic machines that were notorious for fraud.
Mayor Daly in Chicago? Can it get dirtier?
From Wikipedia, 1960 election, (Ill, Texas) give me a break:
Nixon’s campaign staff urged him to pursue recounts and challenge the validity of Kennedy’s victory in several states, especially in Illinois, Missouri and New Jersey, where large majorities in Catholic precincts handed Kennedy the election.[1] However, Nixon gave a speech three days after the election stating that he would not contest the election.[1] The Republican National Chairman, Senator Thruston Morton of Kentucky, visited Key Biscayne, Florida, where Nixon had taken his family for a vacation, and pushed for a recount.[1] Morton did challenge the results in 11 states,[15] keeping challenges in the courts into the summer of 1961. However, the only result of these challenges was the loss of Hawaii to Kennedy on a recount.
Kennedy won Illinois by less than 9,000 votes out of 4.75 million cast, or a margin of two-tenths of one percent. [15] However, Nixon carried 92 of the state’s 101 counties, and Kennedy’s victory in Illinois came from the city of Chicago, where Mayor Richard J. Daley held back much of Chicago’s vote until the late morning hours of November 9. The efforts of Daley and the powerful Chicago Democratic organization gave Kennedy an extraordinary Cook County victory margin of 450,000 votesmore than 10% of Chicago’s 1960 population of 3.55 million[20]thus barely overcoming the heavy Republican vote in the rest of Illinois. Earl Mazo, a reporter for the pro-Nixon New York Herald Tribune, investigated the voting in Chicago and claimed to have discovered sufficient evidence of vote fraud to prove that the state was stolen for Kennedy.[15]
