Rep. Ron Pauls (R-Texas) presidential campaign will live on in 2010 in the form of two of his closest devotees running in key Senate races.
And they are starting to have a real impact.
Pauls libertarian-leaning presidential bid, while notable for its novelty and the amount of money he raised, was never given a chance. By contrast, his son Rand Paul and adviser Peter Schiff are starting to be seen and felt in two of the biggest Senate races in the country.

Another source wasnt so charitable. The source, who is close to Schiffs campaign but disgruntled, said the inmates are running the asylum and that both Schiff and Paul are too untraditional to have a chance. He's right about one thing.
The inmates are running the asylum, both in the Government and in the GOP.
However, he's wrong to outright dismiss a conservatarian uprising in 2010, particularly one in which the RINOs running the GOP will likely be brought to their political knees.

Peter Schiff's martyred father still rots in jail due to a Iran/Nazi style trial against him. Maybe Peter's election will help his father.
Peter Schiff seems like a good kid and he did call the economic disaster correctly.

Patriotism has long been quantified by how much one is willing to give. It’s high time that we begin to quantify it in terms of how little one is willing to take.

I donated to Harry Reid’s opponent and I’m not even from that state. THAT IS HOW WE WILL CLEAN OUT THE CORRUPT. Stop renting mindless, worthless, useless movies and donate and make a difference. These people have one well funded machine against them. The citizens will make the changes, but it takes donations.

Look for the national Republican Party to try and undercut Rand Paul and other libertarian Republicans, while they suck up to leftist scum like Mark Kirk of IL.
One of the comments nailed it - people see the ruse of the two-parties and will vote for the candidate who believes in freedom and the Constitution. Republicans are kidding themselves if they think people are just pissed at the Dems.

Heavens to betsy, they refuse to run a traditional campaign? The horrors, the horrors!
If the GOP keeps doing things the way they’ve always done them, GOP voters will keep getting the big government they’ve been getting.
