One thing about former Vice President Dick Cheney: He'll never be mis taken for a wallflower.

And good for him.

With the eighth anniversary of 9/11 rapidly approaching, Cheney took to the airwaves Sunday to strip some hide off the Obama administration over its decision to target past CIA efforts to protect America from terrorism.

"It's an outrageous political act that will do great damage, long term, to our capacity to be able to have people take on difficult jobs [and] make difficult decisions," he charged on Fox News Sunday.

He's right, of course -- especially given the startling revelations in a Washington Post story over the weekend of how waterboarding and other "harsh" interrogation tactics turned Khalid Sheik Mohammed into the CIA's "preeminent source" on al Qaeda.

Indeed, KSM (as the agency referred to him) provided information that led to 70 arrests, both here and abroad, including the collaring of an extended network of Pakistanis whose terror targets included the Brooklyn Bridge.

Krauthammer says that Cheney is winning the debate with Hussein and friends.I've always admired the guy myself.Cheney,that is.....but I admire Krauthammer too.

The thug from Chicago and his minions obviously have plans to remain in power forever, otherwise they are setting precedents to ensure they will be spending the next two decades testifying to grand juries. Unlike the trumped up claims of wrongdoing by Republicans, DemonRATs swim in a cesspool of corruption.

Several years back, there was that bumper sticker referring to Cheney’s accidental shooting of his friend while bobwhite quail hunting in Texas: “I’d rahter hunt with Dick than ride with Teddy.” More apt now that Teddy is on his way to meet his Maker.
