I venture most people under 30 have little to no idea what a Communist is or what they even stand for - much less the unspeakable horrors they have perpetrated on humanity in the past 100 years.
As far as many people are concerned, this is nothing but a big "So What"?
Besides, don't Communists, or Marxists, or Socialists, or whatever they are called just want to give us all free healthcare, stimulus checks, and other free stuff we deserve?
They don't seem so bad! /s/

Before the end of the Cold War, everyone knew what a Communist was. I'm 39.
The ending of the Cold War softened the image of Communists, IMO.

I’m afraid you are so right.
They see the THEORY of communism and think “Wow, that’s pretty cool! Everyone has the same!” but don’t think about the limitations of freedoms that come with it. Not to mention all the ‘big ballah’s’ that won’t be allowed under communism.
